The Absa Bond Fund was launched recently. The fund will invest in South African bonds, gilts, money market instruments, corporate bonds, fixed deposits and other interest bearing instruments or derivatives of these instruments as well as units of domestic or offshore funds with a similar policy. The fund will be classified in the Domestic--Fixed Interest--Bond sector.
